ATLANTA - July 1, 2021 Search Discovery, a data transformation company headquartered in Atlanta with a major office in Cleveland, has been named to two local top workplaces lists in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The Plain Dealer.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ranked Search Discovery 19th out of 85 Atlanta metro honorees in the Small Business category, and The Plain Dealer ranked the firm #5 out of their 105 selected Small Businesses.
The rankings are based on employee survey responses to 24 factors covering seven areas, including organizational health factors, relating to workplace culture. Questions cover employee engagement, company leadership, and the basics, such as pay, benefits, training, and expectations.
3,268 companies were nominated or asked to participate after metro Atlanta employees responded to print and online solicitations that began appearing in August. These companies represent 56,160 workers in the Atlanta region, including 34,031 of whom responded to the survey.
In Cleveland, Cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer honored 175 companies, nonprofits, schools, and organizations using similar employee engagement survey feedback.
“Being recognized as a top workplace is a testament to the culture our people have created,” says Andy Smelser, Senior Director, People Services. “This past year has been an especially challenging one. It has been an amazing experience to see how the team has responded by supporting each other and our clients. The team’s relentless focus on helping each other thrive while embodying our Core Values will continue to define our culture for years to come.”
